Since the verses this week are a little more unfamiliar, and probably a little more difficult to memorize, here is an EXTRA INCENTIVE to memorize Titus 2:11-13. I am not going to say what it is, but those who memorize this week's verses will have the opportunity to win a SPECIAL PRIZE in addition to the book, A Sinner's Guide to Holiness by John Chapman. This extra prize is NOT a book.
Hopefully, this will sweeten the deal sufficiently to encourage more people in the class to take the challenge to hide God's word in their hearts. If this proves to be an effective inducement, we will probably do it again. Not every week, but on occasion.
One other thing; I MUST have the names of those who will commit to memorizing the verses and be entered in the drawing BEFORE Sunday morning. So, email me or call me or see me in person to let me know ahead of time.

P.S. Class, one more thing. Here is a really special inducement to get more class members to accept the challenge to memorize Scripture. For the last four weeks of our study in "Just for Starters," here is a special challenge with a special prize. IF there are at least five class members who memorize the weekly Scripture each week, there will be a chance for someone to win an extra extra prize at the end of the study. Again, IF there are at least five class members who memorize the verse(s) for that week, then at the end of the study everyone who memorized all the verses for the last four studies will have their names placed in the drawing for an extra special prize. I'm not going to tell you what the prize is, but I believe it will be worth the effort of memorizing these verses. SO, IS THIS CLASS UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
